The Deepest Night

The Sun rose today

It makes the world seem shiny

I wonder who went through

Those lonely dark hours last night

Waiting for the Sun

But their breath was taken

From their lungs.

As they slept sickly

With fever dreams

How long did they wait?

I wonder what their thoughts were

As our Night turned to Day

But their Night became forever

for awhile

Going deeper than Dreams

But having even more rest
