A Deer In White Headlights
I am a deer in white headlights
I pray she misses every time
With her driving behind the wheel most nights
I am left with no rights
She yells as if I have committed a crime
I am a deer in white headlights
I am left defenseless as I lie in the street with my body covered in her bites
This is when she is at her prime
With her driving behind the wheel most nights
The damage she has caused is irreversible, no one can repair me, not even a couple of knights
She has made it clear I am not worth more than a dime
I am a deer in white headlights
Her Insults penetrate me after our fights
And after every fight I’m tossed to the grime
With her driving behind the wheel most nights
A terrible accident to have hit me, she writes
Some nights I pray she might not drive by and simply resign
I am a deer in white headlights
With her driving behind the wheel most nights
