The Definition of Love

Its a, "Hey, are you okay?"

or a, "How was your test today?"

Its a, "Let me help you out,"

or a, "What are you sad about?"

Its hugs on a rainy day

or a hand that wipes your tears away.

Its a pat on the back,

or clothes folded in a stack.

Its a surprise sent to the house

or a compliment on your new blouse.

Its a voicemail on the phone

or knowing that you're not alone.

Its a meal on the table

or being told that you are able.

Its making up after a fight

or being kissed goodnight.

Love is real and love is fair.

Love doesn't care about the size that you wear.

Love is honest and love is true.

Love will find its way to you.
