definition of me

I like me. Don't care if others don't. I might be...a little weird sometimes but that's just me. You might say,...i'm a little quiet. You don't know me. I say what needs to be said. I like to talk when I have something to say. Don't watch me...waiting for my downfall Don't wait for me...to be more like you. I won't be... Jesus is my mirror. I reflect him every day. You can't see...my flaws. they are covered so well. You must know...that every time i'm inspired, I write a poem. I'm not...like other poets. I'm just being who I be, and this...is my definition of me.

I love spoken word poetry and poetry in general. i do write poetry but not as often as i would like. however, i am a christian, i love Jesus!, i am a college student and i want to share my story with all who are willing to listen. so here it goes....

I came up with this poem right on the spot. (cuz i'm hot like that! lol!) Its basically how I would define or describe myself. I wanted the other poets and poet-lovers to know a little about me and my style. Then again, I don't know if i have a definite style. Guess i'll find out the more I post poems. Hope you like it, but if you don't, then I won't care..."cuz that's just me! lol!
