Delirium

How do I begin, when it comes to you? You’re a mere depiction of perfection Due to one flaw, this love cannot be true Still I long for you and your affection I teeter with sanity/delirium My thoughts of you comfort me through it all I dream of us and what is yet to come, But our love isn’t certain; it’s doomed to fall With you, I must question reality Your delusive beauty overwhelms me My delusions fade with serenity Could this demented mind have been set free? To commence, my love is more than a gleam, Yet how can you remain, but just a dream?
