Deliver Thee from Conformity

I apologize in advance,

For my perspective shall offend thee;

And, I apologize in advance

For the lack of sincerity in my apology

Shall offend thee as well.

My perspective already censored

Is unable to withstand further censorship;

But, I apologize in advance

If I fail to censor my perspective

To such a degree that it is non-existent;

And, unrecognizable as my own

Which might render me worthy of your friendship.

Therefore, I apologize in advance

For I am sure to offend thee

As conformity has no appeal to me.

So, I once again offend thee

As I respectfully decline thee

In the name of individuality;

And, I must once again apologize

For being me.
