To see the world through her eyes;

The blessing of a new sun each day, and the rising of the moon

The experience that comes with making mistakes again and again

The feeling that comes with success after constant failure

The little piece she has taken from each of her friends

Everyone has beauty, deep down, buried under a mask

Everyone has a story that may prevent him or her from being themselves

Forgiveness is as never ending as the sea kissing the shoreline

An open mind helps her to heal other hearts

That may not be as pure as hers

She longs to heal those who are wounded

Reaching out unconditionally with her soul

But over time it starts to tear

Dullness comes over her once shining eyes

Her purity has been used up, and not given back to

She does not know how to deny those who are not worthy

Of her unconditional forgiveness, or those hurt beyond her repair

She is being chipped away by the careless use of others

She blames herself, for she must have gone somewhere

But she is not beyond repair, unlike these souls who took her light away

She listens to the songs of her muses

The laughter of her brothers and sisters

The shine of the moon in the night

The hope of the days to come

The glowing eyes of those she loves

She remembers her light

And she is restored
