Delusional

He spoke in rhyme as I watched the sky, dancing with the clouds on a stage. Telling stories of old friends, and places where he'd stayed. I'd laugh and smile and laugh some more, he'd lay down on his bed and say, "I'm bored." And that was all. We went out to watch movies, he'd eat popcorn and throw it in my face. Then yell at me for not feeling what he wanted me to say. But when I'd be gone he'd call just to remind me that my scent, it always stayed. And it still stays. I remember when the winter passes by, along with all the promises you had made. You promised we'd play in the snow and walk around, but when it was warm out I gave you up instead. These days I stand in the cold even though the thing is that it hasn't snowed much anyway.
