Why?

He yells

Why?

She screams

Why?

They cry

But all they know

Are their own echoes

No sense in looking

When all lies sit in truth

And death lies in life

As minds lie in wait

While teeth gnash fate

Curious

Angry

Questioning

Reasoning

But then all falls again

And all we can do

Is trust something new comes

To uncover the old

Demanding me

Telling you

Why settle for it

When no one even knows

But everyone commands it.
