dementia

You died before your body ejected your mind and soul from itself, we lost you whenever your own memories became a foreign film running backwards through your head that you can't quite keep your eyes open though. When friends became strangers and family became "you look familiar." Yes, your body may have been technically functional those last 3 months, but you were already gone, your soul vacated your vessel and moved on to another lifetime, your mind rotted away leaving behind a trail of broken thoughts, scattered memories, a box of puzzles without all the pieces for you to put together while your body gave up on you.
