1 Corinthians 14:8 New English Translation (NET Bible)

8 If, for example, the trumpet makes an unclear sound, who will get ready for battle?

Well we’re up and going and no one can stop us now

After a few uncertain steps, we’ll take off a running

The world is watching us and wondering somehow

How we got this far being so dumb in our lack of cunning

Demonstrations everywhere for the sake of being heard

Sensible or not they want to only draw attention

From California to Maine as in ignorance they burp

-up their misunderstanding in an endless contention

Again I am painting pictures from my point of view

With the colors from the past that I seem to like most

Are they becoming fixtures sitting next to me in the pew?

As on Sundays, they are shrinking almost like a ghost?
