The Demon that Exposes me

I’m my biggest hater

I let jealousy take over me like a demon

That demon tells me to stay silent when I should be congratulating someone

It tells me to be irate with someone who accomplished something before me

It comes around when someone is doing better than me

And it smiles while I’m crying
