Demon Within

Dear Self,

I’m unsure as to why you keep striving and reaching to climb the mountains of success?

For you should know that you are incapable of holding on to the ropes of faith

The sun will not shine to direct you to the achievements, you solely pray for

Your confidence will crack and scatter words of self-doubt and discouragement

Don’t Try! Don’t!

For you will fail!

Your creator will allow you to fall and drown in your puddles of shame

Be strong and wear your mask of boldness as the unknown will never know

That you are truly weak and fearful of yourself

I’m unsure as to why you keep striving and reaching to climb the mountains of success?

For if you climb, you will die.

With regrets …….

Sincerely,

Sukie
