Demons

I ask him what to do so I can be fixed

My mind goes blank since my thoughts don't mix

I soak in the lyrics and stare at the ceiling

Pleading to him why it happens to me

You ask me what I'm thinking about

Everything, I want to say but I don't know how

My parents ask if I am depressed

I quickly deny so they don't get stressed

I've got everything I need

So why do I feel the need to plead

What's my purpose anymore

Has it been washed away from the shore

I put iin my head phones to escape

Hoping I'll just be pulled by the waves

Jealousy, trapped, needy and alone

Everything that runs through my bones

I wasn't always like this

Was it something I just happened to miss

I have so many fears that often control me

Music and you make me feel free

My feelings don't come spilling out

Nothing stated because of my doubt

No one knows what I think or how I feel

Maybe that's best so my issues don't seem so real

My insecurity

kills my ambition

I just need someone to listen

But maybe it's best if I stay by myself

Cause I don't want to put my problems on anyone else
