Demon's Door
Install the most complicated security system imagination can manufacture,
Bouncing along the star-supported assembly line leading back to the marvelous machine
We call the mind, capable of taking that word and rising far above a simple definition.
Choose the most complicated code you can still drag out of dragon-guarded depths,
Ferocious fire-breathers once allies but now weapons of war against self-esteem.
Season your most mouth-watering choice cut to drip red so they will drip saliva,
Dogs set to be stationed around the border of your brain... posted in vain
When from within, the golden gizmo is switched from "strength" to "sin"
And out comes the river of regret washing you away from the path you found,
Back through the demon's door and onto the only thing you should kiss: ground!
"FAILURE" is what they spell on the bleachers, cheer captains doing splits
As their bodies crack in harmony with yours, just in time for the band's
Bellowing of blunders scrunched against the scientist's microscope, the mad doctor
Who wraps their lab coat around you, because the degree in deception is all yours!
I swear to you, there is still time to get your hand on the door and push against
Mechanized minions of misery inscribing on checks you do not have to cash!
You could never withdraw the loved ones who would wield building-block bazookas
Against self-scrutinizing specters who must not be allowed to screech without interruption...
Please, rage against the overthrown machine before human flesh is colder than steel,
Today for everyone who knows you are beautiful... tomorrow for when you can see it.
Worth needs no epic quest, no slaying of Goliath in Godhood... it is already yours.

Your Poem's Voice
Blends personal struggle (self-esteem, failure) with abstract philosophical assertions about worth and resistance.
Extremely dense; multiple metaphorical layers, ideas, and conceptual shifts per segment throughout.
Negative struggle and failure dominate, but resolves with redemptive affirmation and encouragement.
Explosive kinetic language: fire, saliva, rage, weaponized imagery, relentless forward motion.
Approximately 31-60 lines; substantial meditative-dramatic monologue with sustained intensity.
Maximally ornamented: extended metaphors (security system, machine, dogs, river), similes, personification throughout.
Primarily lyric-dramatic hybrid; internal voice addressing listener directly ('I swear to you') with performative intensity.
