The Den

When troubles rush and wish to conquer thee

Retire to thine bed to dream away

And no more day will thine then see

When thine wants to go to the lovely bay

I wish, I dream to see thee once again

I pray that I had never opened the door

To find thee alone lying in the den

It crushed me dreams of seeing thee once more

Thine spirit takes me, I love another

Thine speaks to me, takes my breath away like a storm

Words go through one ear and out the other

How I wish I had some time to mourn

My fate now sealed tis plain for all to see

I wish thine troubles didn't conquer me
