Denial

The feel of her lips on mine.

"It's just a phase"

I try to block out all feelings I have for her.

I look away as she moves toward me, filled with the longing to hold her.

I keep telling myself it'll go away.

I pray to the Lord asking him to forgive me for this sin.

I dream about the way her narrow hips move when she walks.

The way her brown eyes sparkle when she's excited.

I imagine kissing her with such fervor as if the world might collapse around us.

I don't understand why I feel this way and I'm scared
