Denied Worth

Clouded judgement to acknowledge
how one gives advice
yet can't solve
their own conflict of interests

Tis utterly preposterous to me
oblivious of sight
can't seem to recognize
its theme

Can direct
but can't follow
how shallow how hallow
this thinking

Rationale is sinking
into a place of
constant turmoil
riddled with no absolutions

Baffled to say the least
what measure we meet
spewed upon each other
stubbornness refused uncovered
