Departure

I felt bound to you

The never ending feeling of a repeated broken cycle

As I tried to leave , You would not let me go

I see a light in this pit and follow

This light leading to the stair way of freedom

But like a plague

You rob me of the very hope of life 

Why won't you let me go?

Unable to cope with the feeling of desolation 

Unable to deal with the anguish and anger from the way you torment me 

I uproot you like a bad weed in the midst of flourishing flowers

Now I am able to breathe
