Depends

Exactly how long do I have left to live?

Because if we're talking all of eternity, I'll need my memories

All the yearning for times gone will be well worth it, I'm sure

And if I have just a year, then what I'll really need is income

So I could do all those things I'll never get the chance to regret

But if I have just one day, I'll only ask for my family

Because if I didn't have them,

Nothing,

Not money nor memories,

Not even the promise of more time

Could make that last day worth living

This poem is about:
Me
My family
