Depleted and Destroyed

Dark sky overhead
filled with pollution
where did the sunsets go
Blues and pinks and golds

Has this become our future
a dark depleted life
the past just a pleasant memory
fairy tales for our children

Oh when did this happen
where did we go wrong
in trying to make life perfect
we destroyed what our life was
