Depravity 2

James 3:16

16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.

Depravity

Little now is known about obedience and purpose

Little seems understood about the call to travel on

All seems lost and wandering way too far out of focus

As day in and out the struggle for survival is going on

As it appears before should you at once remove the obstacles,

which for one or another reason pop up constantly?

Why can’t we see from afar the ever reaching tentacles,

that so easily slow us down in the race toward the Heavenly?

Cries of confusion ringing and pounding in our ears

Eyes filled with indifference trying to escape the turmoil

What a conclusion ……….. each and everyone has fears

To be involved a hindrance …. Signs of an unfruitful soil

Deep in the dessert … Signs of an oasis

Crowded all together to keep water all for self

Not at all pleasant as selfishness is contagious

With no change in the weather … for a final farewell
