Depression

I’m in that stage of depression where I just want to stop, Do nothing, maybe some deep thinking, but other than that, Just let the world go on around me, maybe without me, maybe none of this matters, But not quite that deep, insightful and invigorating, yet powerfully intimidating depression where your emotion is simply pouring out of you, Like a full glass that is being continually filled, The feelings that force you to find alternate outlets for your emotion. When you are required to find ways to sum up the feelings you are having, Something like an epiphany, only in emotion form, The kind that causes you to clench your blanket tightly, And to hunch over your journal, scribbling powerful words, phrases and poems, Either forming beautiful rhythms or paralleled ways to get your perspective out, When your fingers begin to hurt and the ink mixes with your tears as they hit the page, And your mind going a mile per minute as you realize there is nothing you can do to express it

Longboard_Man

I've been writing poetry for about two years now, I just finished my first year at Purdue and I am a gymnast, parkour enthusiast, longboarder and I do pretty much every other extreme sport, and I adore nature.
