Depression
Im breathing in and out so fast
trying to make the air in my lungs last
im starting to panic it was a trap
I finally took my one last gasp
thinking that this is what it feels like to die
body so cold and youre left wondering why
if only I could do something, if only I tried
would I still be here, would I be alive
Someone pinch me this cant be real
my body aching pain I can feel
my depression it clings and will never heal
alive inside of me all it does is steal
I lay still like a paralyized man
only having visions of when I could stand
its a tease and a joke im no longer a fan
none of this was ever part of my plan
It comes at random and takes control
killing me slowly is its only goal
I crave freedom it craves for my soul
im tired of fighting i want to let go
