Depression

It is a hole.

A deep, dark abyss.

My mind is elsewhere,

and all of my thoughts are amiss.

My eyes are shielded by darkness,

yet I can see clearly.

I endlessly wander inside the nothingness

and scream, but no one can hear me.

Why? Why am I here?

There's one thing I lack.

It is the key to healing,

and I desperately need it back,

But maybe I don't need it.

In this darkness, I am alone.

Alone and deep in my thoughts.

I find comfort in the unknown.

But the more comfortable I become,

the deeper I sink and the more I dissipate

until I'm gone.

Until my presence disintegrates.
