Depression

She sits in the corner of her room,

Knees pulled to her chest,

Eyes shut tight,

Fingers tangled in her hair.

All her problems seem to be attacking her at once.

She pulls her knees closer.

Her eyes squeeze together harder.

Her fingers grasping a lock of hair on each side.

She looks up towards her ceiling.

Her face drenched in tears.

Her eyes red and puffy.

Look deep into her eyes.

They tell her story.

She's broken inside.

Her pain flickers through her eyes.

Her anger flares up and her face turns red.

She starts screaming,

Shouting,

Throwing everything and anything in reach.

She cant take it.

"Shut up!" She yells to the voices in her head

Her chest tightens and she's losing air.

Darkness starts to consume her room.

It all happened in a matter of minutes.

No one would help her when she needed it most.

So now all that's left is the empty pill bottles thrown across her room.
