Depression
Darkness never truly leaves,
as water it recedes;
into the depths of cornered minds
brooding notions like thistly weeds…
A perpetually quaking molestation,
cruel sickness sans cessation.
It teases the sun before it swallows,
and seizes the son before sensation.
Sown and tended in the flesh,
into mans veins manes coalesce;
and so the seeds will settle…
along roots of men possessed.
