Depression

No matter where you are,

I will find you.

No matter how hard you run,

I will capture you.

I will take everything away from you,

You will be empty.

I will control your life,

You will suffocate.

Anything that was dear to you,

I will eradicate.

Anything that made you happy,

I will destroy.

You are my marionette,

I am your puppeteer.

You are my slave,

I am your master.

What little energy you have left,

I will drain it.

What little happiness is still there,

I will take it.

As long as I am here,

You are nothing.

As long as I exist,

I will not let you go.

I whisper to you,

"Just do it."

I whisper again,

"Die."
