Depression

(poems go here) This tear that just fell down my face Has its own personal story It was caused by the depression within So full of loneliness and separation from the world The need to be wanted and known by all Loved instead of talked about Seen as perfect in the eyes of all Knowing that in reality It’s not perfect Nothing is perfect Wanting to feel beautiful And know that the word “ugly” Can’t be used to describe it Wanting to smile instead of frown Wanting to laugh instead of cry This tear was full of dead weight This dead weight called depression Trying to push it away Lock it up in cage that can never be opened Never able to see the light of day again This burden locked up inside Wanting to be released But can’t find the proper wilderness For it to roam free So instead it waits It waits for the chance To be wiped away
