Depression

Look at the glistening, blue sea

with its warm, gentle greeting

as the sun peaks over the horizon

and the tidal waves caringly caressing the sand.

Look at the vast, blue sky that watches us anywhere we go

with its own carefree birds.

In the morning and the night,

it dances with radiant colors of red, pink, yellow, blue, and orange

and makes us yearn for the warmth that it holds.

Look at the magnificent landforms scattered across the world:

Mountains, plateaus, prairies, rivers, and valleys.

They all make this world adventurous and enticing to be in.

Look at the vast majority of animals:

Giraffes, Rhinos, Wolves, Felines, and more.

They all have instincts that makes each one unique

and that's what makes them beautiful.

Look at how far people have come:

Medicine, 6,909 different languages, and technology.

Everyone has smiling faces daily

and they enjoy each other's company.

But there's one twist to all of this:

With all my thoughts, all my actions, all my words,

I can't really enjoy it.

Can you?
