Depression

I feel like I'm drowning, but everyone else can't see

They can't hear my screams of pain

Nor can they see my scars full of shame.

My life is a downward spiral

full of lies and stomach aches

My fingers down my throat,

Saying "I already ate."

Life is becoming meaningless

No one seems to care

The life has drained from my eyes

My social duties are becoming too much to bare.
