Depth

All those English classes are meant to teach us something right?

Well, at first I thought all these poems were too difficult to grasp;

Or so I thought and soon I was able to write.

When it was explained to me I could finally clasp

And that was when I fell in love with reading poetry.

Somewhere along those lines of not only rhyming but of understanding,

My favorite are the ones that have a little sultry

Or just make me feel like I can relate are the most outstanding

There are all different poem types that attract me,

But I can only write ones that rhyme so it doesn’t make me seem like I’m deep.

Tumblr is where I search for poems and at that moment I feel like I’m free.

I reblog those poems  because it makes it seems like they keep…

Me sane.

When I read a poem I can make my own interpretations and meanings;

In that way it’s a part of me… part of my body… my vein

Another thing that adds to my excitement is the fact of the YouTube poem slam screenings

Poetry is very important and unique

It goes there…

To the point where it makes everyone feel emotions they haven’t felt in a really really long time
