From the depths

There is an indefinite science
which boggles everything in the conscience
We search and prod, but can’t discover
what is in our fellow brother
It’s not something you just reveal
Don’t expect it to be concealed
Further, deeper, we drudge along
Without comfort we sing a sorrowful song
Terrible the deep abyss stares
Ideas go amiss like doused flares
No it cannot be...it calls
Obliteration is where it falls
Tranquility achieved, through skeptical glee
We must accept and praise the follie
The bottom’s dropped, we’ll never know
Everything’s stopped, nowhere to go

But wait, there’s something ahead
not festering or full of dread
A light that gleams brighter than all
Reach out, and grab it to stop the fall
What greatness doth I hold so tight?
How could I remember something so right?
Nothing could stop that proclivity
The greatest will: creativity!
Burning bright but not searing
Everything just within hearing
Just push, it’s there, just give it force
You don’t have to seriously coerce
It’s deep inside waiting
only needing some contemplating
Look down and see, you’ll know it too
What’s there for me, is the same for you
