DERRICK ETERNALLY ERASED

My heart is my tongue

I let it speak for me because

I tend to lose words.

I am drowning in our memories

i’m trying to keep hold on this

relationship

The separation suffocates me,your body

won't cuddle with me anymore

I let my heart speak for me

I lose the words

I’m gasping but its pointless

trying to keep hold on this relationship

I want to scream to hell with college

but i can’t change fate,

My body won't cuddle with you anymore.

an internal crack in the walls of me

you won't be able to fix this.

I want to scream to hell with college

but I can’t change fate,

an internal crack in the walls of me

and you won't be able to fix this!

swimming towards what I want

hoping it’s worth it. the ice is thin

what was solid is now broken

our love is drowning

college has finally melted us

now a 7 year relationship is over

our love is drowning,

drowning in our memories

college has finally melted us

love is dead and long distance

won’t satisfy.

My heart is my tongue

and when you speak to me

sparks fly.

im a fly to attracted to the light

i've drowned for us

because gasping was too much to handle

so take my tongue derrick.

it is my heart, it's up to you to

save what's left of us.
