Describing "Mom" in Twelve Stanzas
How do I thank you
For all that you have done,
All the love you have given me,
All the years of joy and fun?
You raised us all,
Into the people we became,
You make me stand proud and tall,
You gave me my name.
I wish I could be as selfless, as kind as you,
I apsire to be half the mother you are.
Such care, such compassion, so pure, so true,
Shines bright even when you are far.
You gave us your life,
You gave us yourheart,
You deal with our strife,
And even our farts.
But seriously, I do not think you know
Just how much I look up to you,
Your strength, your courage, how far you'll go,
You keep this family together, our sturdiest glue.
Your beauty, your talent, cmpassion and care,
Your loving concern and protective embrace,
Your looks that make the most humble men stare,
That joyful smile that lights up your face.
Mom, I love you,
So so very much.
Even though I do not show it,
I could not be without your touch.
This world is brighter because of you,
Much more joyful, happy, loving,
And funny too.
Thank you for raising me right,
For putting up with the fights,
For being there every morning,
and every night.
I will never know,
How you did it all those years,
But you did it so...
Hip Hip Hooray, three cheers!
So now it seems,
There is just one thing left to say:
Thank you, I love you Mom,
And Happy Mother's Day!
