Description of Love

How does one describe love? Is it tender care and passion? The boy who sees your pain, And he, himself, is ashen. Is it the one who holds your heart, Just as close as he holds your hand? Or the one who makes it beat wildly, Like a thumping, big brass band? The one who completely falls for you, Rather than a desperate one-night-stand, Or the butterflies in your stomach, Like what stage fright demands? How does one describe love? Is he the closest to your home, The one closest to your heart, Or the one who's close when you're alone? Is he the one who says, "Good Morning." with a smile beautiful as a bouquet? Or the one who thinks of you, From thought to thought with little to no delay? Maybe it's he who speaks your name, Under his breath, twenty times a day. Or the one who promises, Forever he will stay. All these things define the word "love." Love is ever changing to every person, From a simple schoolboy crush, To a complete heart emersion. But better than that, Love is described as you in my book, Because you stole my heart, And I don't even want back what you took.
