Desert Flower

You're like a desert flower No not alone, waiting to wither and die Isolated hour by hour You're unique and special One might even say one of a kind You say you're worthless and unworthy Always relying on your past to define you I say you are wrong, but lets no start some controversy You deserve to be happy, and I think so do I Why can't you leave that all behind I cannot promise to be THE best But i will try MY best So lets end this and start anew My little desert flower

This poem was inspired by my highschool crush in hopes that she could finally forgive her past and move on to greater things, and maybe even possibly get into a relationship with me.
