On a Desert Isle

Don't disregard my answer.

Don't roll your eyes.

Because if you had my faith,

it would change your life.

My God is my item

I can't live without

I know it's cliche,

and don't think I don't doubt.

But everytime I think of a world without Him.

I'm lost.

I'm scared.

Is this a love song or hymm?

For he is my love song,

the one without end.

Amen!

Amen!

I say to you this:

To whom do you go when you are sick?

Your mother and father I assume is true.

I go to my parents:

A Virgin  and a Jew.

For my God is eternal and human alike.

He knows me better than my earthly mother,

Protects me more than my earthly father.

I am not trying to convert you,

to insult you,

to hurt you.

You've asked a question and my answer is such.

I cannot live without my faith.

It supplies my hope.

It gives me grace.

And if nothing else on this earth is mine.

I will live with the Lord forever on my mind.
