Deserted Island vows

It’s terrifying to think of being stranded on a deserted island with only you.

At this moment I begin to think about the first hours of desperation and anger we would endure.

As our reality settles, my internal drive to succeed would begin to react.

Your calm, logical and creative mentality would humble my thoughts as a gentle touch of support.

We would begin to compromise, as each of us would take on our strengths and empower our weaknesses.

Each survival objective would release the worst of our characteristics

But these characteristics would remind us of our imperfections and motivate us to do better.

The struggle would be eternal but would bring us together as one.

It’s terrifying to think of being stranded on a deserted island with only you, but only you remind me of the best parts of me.
