Deserted Travels

For this, my last breath.
On an illusory plane.
Mute from the heat, dry.
Bowing to the weakness,
My deceiver, my enemy.
Dragging on this loose earth.
Scratching forward,
To only piles.
A chicken broiling, in oil,
Seasoned in freckles.
Praying, prying for night,
An iced relief, to freeze.
A seasonal convergence,
Burning my coat, to shed,
For the sky, without cover.
My polar hell.
