Deserving

Humans deserve a place to rest their head,

humans deserve to have a full stomach,

humans deserve to feel the love of a parent.

Humnas deserve but don't always recieve.

Here in Honduras homes fall apart,

here in Honduras people go hungry,

here in Honduras orphans roam the trash-littered streets.

Here in Honduras the landscape is beautiful,

but the lifestyle doesn't match.

Here in Honduras humans deserve,

but don't always recieve.
