Designer as Creator

design creates the world we live

the bridges we walk

the beds we sleep

memories are held

in the walls of shelter

through the lense of capture

and the sound of laughter

but, I ask one question

do we ever mention

the designer of these great invention

behind the physical

it is greatly empirical

for what you use is purely intellectual

the designer is learned

creative and, in turn,

maker of all which is concerned

so here I stand

in intense demand

to appreciate those who make the world oh so grand
