Desire

Am I able to desire something out of reach?

Am I allowed to get what I desire most?

Listen..no, it's so unexplainable, complex, absurd and unbelievable.

It dangles in my reach almost there...its gone.

It disappeared leaving me in black nothingness- cold, scared.

I'm searching and I found open arms beckoning me.

I'm welcome all to soon I had to go.

Listen, I believe it has forgotten what did happen.

My desire moves along without taking a second glance.

My heart, breaking and lonely, dreaming of what was.

So I wait so silently, reliving my lost memories.

so, leaving behind nothingness, I walk away forgetting.

I sense something behind me, but nothing's in sight.

I am scared, so I run and I'm caught.

Something is holdin gme closer to this invisible being.

Something there in my memory, the thing I desire.
