Desire is Hunger
I am thinking of cheese, potatoes and cobbler.
My desire to be something has a hold on my heart.
My soul is filled like a Twinkie.
Funnel Cakes and Cotton Candy.
Cinnamon buns at Disneyland.
Food is great.
It helps me in my time of need.
Who cares about food?
Is it that seriously all that you have to say?
One moment swiftly took you to a place where your soul and heart had value and that’s all the
Respect you have for them.
Two lines and then
Go back to food.
“I love food.
Food is great.”
That is Pathetic.
You have a moment to show off the mind
That God has blessed you with,
That people envy and you just talk about food.
Even now, food is the only thing that you seem to mention.
Where are the metaphors and the personification?
Where is the true intelligence?
Why is it so difficult to just make something up on the spot that doesn’t relate to food!
“My desire to be something has a hold on my heart.”
That’s good, work with it.
My desire to be something has a hold on my heart.
Since birth I knew I had a final destination before death.
Something was to come out of me that others saw and some would try to stop.
My heart has a desire for adventure, danger, courageous acts.
My heart has a desire for people to know my name
But not like they know Justin Bieber’s.
They will know my name like Martha Stewart’s.
They will care about my name like Oprah’s.
They will respect my name like George Washington’s.
My heart wants something.
My soul is going to get it.
Until I reach that I will feel empty.
Empty like my stomach.
I seriously need a Subway sandwich.
