Inspiration 

Many people believe that inspiration, 

Can come from a presentation 

Or a simple explanation. 

But for me, the foundation 

Of my inspiration

Is something so much more.

My inspiration comes from my core.

I find inspiration in the depths of my heart,

The beat that I feel in my chest is what pushes me to start.

My heart has shown me what I aspire to be

And has led me to believe that I can be a better me 

It is because of this inspiration 

That I have found the foundation 

For which I will begin to build my career. 

I will be the first nurse in my family, much like a pioneer.

I have chosen this career because of my empathy 

For the children with cancer, who need the extra sympathy.

My inspiration came from no one but I 

And I will move forward with my dream until the day I die.
