Desire in righteousness

Psalm 24:1

A psalm of David.

The Lord owns the earth and all it contains,
the world and all who live in it.

Desire in righteousness

No one knows the hunger that simple truth brings forth

No one can quench the thirst that resides in righteousness

Unless a gift from up yonder beyond creation’s ports

Far beyond the universe where purity provides Holiness

The temporal cannot contain of that what is everlasting

Perfection has no part at all in what is defiled

Unless once again from the inspired horizon

Far beyond the material the Creator smiles
