Desired Love
It’s just that, three little words with such a huge meaning
They say it to you and you say it back..right?
But it’s not so simple, or as easy as we make it seem
We fall in love with the small things and all together they make the big things
Their laugh, their sense of humor
We fall in love with the butterflies we get when they simply smile at us
We dream up our future with them to the sweet melody of a song
Falling in love isn’t your brain giving you signals or your smile spreading your face
Love is a secret told by one heart and protected by another
Love doesn’t always come easy
It can be unhealthy at times and over power us
But it can also be safe and be the reason to our happiness
Love should be the smile spreading across your face
Love is a barrier, our safe haven
We act as if love is the rhythm to our beating hearts
But when we think about love the same idea appears
Happiness, trust, kindness, giving more than taking
Knowing that they are right by your side
Makes all the loneliness hide
But love can be bleak
It can be overwhelming, and make you feel weak
But suffering and pain doesn’t make you weak
And being hurt by someone you love
Doesn’t make you weak either
In fact it makes you stronger then ever before
If you can rise above the ones below
Then that is the strength we must know
Whether it’s just a friendship or it’s a special someone
Love should be the never ending laughter, the non stop smiling
Love is the bright fire
That outshines any darkness
And it’s our one and only desire
Love is a promise of forever
