Desirous
I have a contented wistfulness
and a wistfulness that destroys.
One is like a cloud,
the other, a storm.
The one that was given,
I have not taken.
I have a contented wistfulness
and a wistfulness that destroys.
I am as desiring with blue
as with bliss.
But how loved is the cloud,
as to that of the storm!
Still paired as a yoke,
I have a contented wistfulness
and a wistfulness that destroys.
