Desolate

The light was gone And in its place was all things wrong She couldn't move, the monster too strong She couldn't see Who could the monster be She wished the pain would stop But all she heard was pants drop Her mind drifted to the world outside Imaging leaves on trees so high Watching As they slowly wither and die But they don't feel pain Which kept them sane As she realized life was never fair As her clothes tear and tear She is afraid Then the light comes on Oh how it took so long But now she see's The monster a he But now she see's the pain from her plea's But now she see's everything And she is still afraid As many say Light and dark Are never far apart
