A Desolate Existance

Life is too sad, the world so bleak

I wish for color in a world of grey

Tears fall no matter how much I blink

My mind so damaged, my eyes gush, not leak

To survive I pretend my life is just a play

Life is too sad, the world so bleak

My soul is too heavy, I scream as I sink

Why breathe when you have nothing to say

Tears fall no matter how much I blink

I lost my reason to live, my life’s link

I can no longer keep the demons at bay

Life is too sad, the world so bleak

So tired of being looked at as “that freak”

I’ve given up and I know that it will be okay

Tears fall no matter how much I blink

If I am dead I no longer have to think

My memories alone make me not want to stay

Life is too sad, the world so bleak

Tears fall no matter how much I blin
